Potato Harvesting
The whole school had been involved in a potato growing competition. This term we planted and taken care of our class's potatoes. On Wednesday we harvested, then on Thursday we tasted them.
Mrs Robertson prepared the potatoes in 3 different ways: potato salad, boiled and covered in butter and roasted with vegetables in smoked paprika. they were so tasty !
In total we harvested:
Reception = 1.6kg
Year 1 = 425g
Year 2 = 1.250kg
Year 3 = 1.247kg
Year 4 = 400g
Year 5 = 150g
Year 6 = 750g
