A Special Visit on Remembrance Day

Yesterday, we were visited by Poppy, our school therapy dog, on Remembrance Day — also known, very fittingly, as Poppy Day!

Poppy proudly wore her purple poppy, which commemorates all the animals who served and lost their lives in wars — including more than eight million horses during World War I.

It was a lovely reminder of the many ways we remember and honour bravery and sacrifice in all its forms.
