At Waterside Academy, we are proud to work in partnership with West Essex SCITT to help train the next generation of primary school teachers.
We are passionate about supporting future teachers as they begin their journey into the profession and develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to inspire children and make a positive difference in schools.
Through our partnership with West Essex SCITT, trainee teachers benefit from high-quality school-based training, expert mentoring and the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience within a supportive and inclusive primary school environment.
Whether you are considering a career change, are about to graduate, or have always dreamed of becoming a teacher, initial teacher training could be the perfect next step.

The programme is looking for people who:

- Want to inspire and support young people
