A Buzzing Visit to Early Years!
Yesterday, our Early Years children enjoyed a fascinating visit from Matt the Beekeeper from Bee Kind, who taught them all about the wonderful world of honey bees.
Matt brought along his observation hive, giving the children a unique opportunity to watch the bees hard at work. They were fascinated to see the bees making honey and caring for their baby bees inside the tiny cells of the honeycomb.
The children also learned about the special protective clothing beekeepers wear and why it is so important. Matt explained how bees make honey, the vital role they play in our environment, and introduced the children to some of the other amazing products that come from the hive.
It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience, and the children thoroughly enjoyed discovering more about these incredible insects. A huge thank you to Matt from Bee Kind for such an engaging and memorable visit!
